1. Rajkumar College

It is one of the oldest high schools in India which was established in the year 1870 by Lt. Col. R H Keatinge during the British rule. At that time, Rajkumar College was only meant to the royal family members and their relatives. Now, it is open for all the common people of India who can secure their admission as per the rules/standards of the college.

The construction is a very old and have beautiful design. You should observe it’s beautiful lawns, amazing halls, and class. However, it’s not possible for all to see it as it is a running college.

2. Alfred High School

India’s freedom movement leader, Mahatma Gandhi studied here. He studied in this high school when his father was working for the princely state. The school’s name is changed to ‘Mohandas Gandhi Vidhyalaya’ from Alfred High School.
