Presence of Mansuri Pinjara in Gujarat
The community of Mansuri Pinjara is found in most of districts in Gujarat. Their mother tongue is Gujarati. However, the community is mainly engaged in very small business, labour work, and small private jobs. They have nearly no representation in state government jobs as well as central government jobs. They have lack of education in the community.
The community enjoys the reservation rights in government jobs and admission in educational institutes. They are included in Other Backward Class. Still, there is less number of people from this community in educational institutes and government departments including state and central.
