On November 26, 2008, the city of Mumbai faced a huge terrorist attack in it’s history. Causalities and Injuries
The terrorists were successful in their mission to kill maximum people. According to official figure, 125+ died and 327+ injured in the attacks. The terrorists used RDX, grenades, and AK-47. They have used methods of bombings and shootings to do maximum damage to the people and property.
Police Officers / Constables and NSG Commando Martyred
To kill or arrest the terrorists alive, a few police constables, police offers, and NSG commandos were martyred in trying to kill the terrorists. Ashok Kamte (ACP), ATS Chief Hemant Karkare, Senior Police Inspector Vijay Salaskar, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, ASI Tukaram Omble, and a few others were martyred in the operations.
Targeted Attack on US, UK and Israeli Tourists
Taj and Oberoi both hotels have high-value tourists from the United States, United Kingdom, and Israel. The terrorists have targetted the people who have American, British, and Israeli passports. They were finding the people who have those passports.
